Tell us what your company is into?
We are a non- governmental organisation that seeks to help the underpriviledge. We are motivated to help and we are being encouraged by some well- meaning Nigerians to actualise our dream.
How easy has it been handling this task?
All businesses come with their own challenges. In this part of the world, the major challenge is funding. It has not been easy getting funds to finance various projects at our disposal, but with the help of God and the support of well-meaning individuals, we have been able to sustain the momentum.
What circumstances led you into this?
Right from my childhood, I have always been passionate about helping the underpriledged and I will like to move this to a higher level.
How easy was it getting started as an entrepreneur?
The first challenge we had was getting the company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) because of the nature of the job. Secondly, when you are starting a project like this, some people will not see anything good in it but with the help of God, I’m happy to say it has been easy because of the passion I have for it.
What were the things you had to put in place to get it started?
In business, its a known fact that you can’t run an organisation alone. In our own case, it was important to get people of like-minds, who are passionate about this. We had to write orphanage home, to seek their consent.
How profitable has the business been?
The business is a non-governmental organisation and non-profit making.
How do you raise money for this?
This business is capital intensive, we raised our funds through personal savings, soliciting for funds, grants and aids, organising welfare seminars.
What does it take to be successful in life?
It takes being prayerful, passionate, hard work and dedication to whatever one does.
What would be your advice for young entrepreneurs?
They should be committed, prayerful and focus.
